YOU NEVER KNOW!

I stopped in to Ocean State Job Lot today for a quick peek to see if they had any nice dog beds, I found Kayaks and Beach Chairs and Pails and Shovels......$$$$.....$20., about half of the price of the hardware store...even Stop & Shop.

There used to be a time when people wouldn't think of stepping in to a Job Lot store.  Now there are many of them.  It seems that rather than be ashamed of shopping in one of those Lots stores, many are proud to have found a great price!  SCORE!

My wonderful old Mayflower Auntie Martha used to call it, "a bonanza!"  You never know.  Today, they had Gottex Bathing Suits, a name I am familiar with because they were in mom's designer sportswear department at Saks Fifth Saks Fifth Avenue.  You can also check for some great prices at  Saks Off Fifth, usually located at outlet malls.

Just for fun, here's a you tube video of the Gottex Line for this year.  Something tells me the bathing suits are not 2010, but I do know that they are a great quality and they have many classic options, tankinis, one pieces and bikinis.  Prices, prices, prices.  You can't help but notice the bargains.  It's certainly not the place to shop when you're hunting for something specific.....except maybe a dog bed or some  San Pellegrino mineral water
